AddressReady Privacy Policy

AddressReady is designed to validate shipping-address information during Shopify checkout while minimizing data collection.

Information we process

Shopify may provide shipping-address fields to the AddressReady Shopify Function while checkout validation is running. The function evaluates the configured rules and returns validation results to Shopify.

Information we store

AddressReady does not store buyer shipping addresses. The app stores only the technical Shopify session information required to install, authenticate, and operate the app for a merchant store, plus the merchant's rule configuration stored on Shopify as app-owned validation metadata.

How information is used

Information is used only to provide checkout address validation, maintain the merchant's selected rules, authenticate the app, and provide support and security.

Sharing and selling

AddressReady does not sell buyer or merchant personal information. We do not use buyer shipping addresses for advertising or profiling.

Data retention and deletion

Buyer shipping addresses are not retained by AddressReady. Shopify session records associated with a store are deleted when required by Shopify's uninstall and privacy compliance processes.

Security

AddressReady uses Shopify's authentication and server-side Function infrastructure. Checkout validation is performed by Shopify Functions rather than by storing buyer addresses in the app database.

Privacy requests

Shopify sends required privacy compliance requests to AddressReady. Because buyer shipping addresses are not stored by the app, there is normally no buyer-address record to export or delete from AddressReady.
